How to Draw Doodle 08

There are 2 major ways of organizing doodles. Linear and areal, in simpler terms, areal is what we have been doing all along. You fill the page or an area with a certain pattern.

Today, we will start with a linear pattern, that is, it won't fill up an area. It is like an expanded line or a decorative border. There are many other uses for it. We will come to that later.

组织涂鸦要注意两种主要方式：线性和区域性，简单来说，区域性就是我们过往一直在画的东西。您画满整个页面，或某个特定的区域。

Step 1. Draw a pair of parallel lines. Draw pairs of curve lines inside. Note that the legs of the curve lines are not the same, one touches the top line, the other touches the bottom.

Step 2: Add another pair of curve lines.

Step 3: Add yet another pair of curve lines in between. Thicken up the top and bottom lines, do a simple design with it.

Step 4: Draw sets of contour lines to show the body of the object. Add color and shadows for fun.

The patterns are infinite, you can do a quick variation and have a new pattern in no time. The key thing about it is trying to create a 3D effect, if you can, you have mastered the skill of being a good doodle-maker.
