in #steempress5 years ago (edited)

He was a painter and sculptor totally devoted to futuristic art and his manifesto, in addition to one of his greatest theorists, traveled through several places in Italy, but finally settled in Milan marveled at modern industrial society. His pictorial works are characterized by dynamism, fractional image and movement, in turn, in the sculptural field he wrote and publish in 1912 the need to experiment with materials and move away from the marble and bronze canon, ironically his works are made with this latest material maybe he could not do it because he died two years later in the First World War.

States of Mind: Those who leave (1911)

For the futurists the subject is worth more than the same pictorial manifestation, so we capture a very expressive work under a line very similar to the analytical cubism that was fashionable at the time, the quality with which I treat the chromatic range in those tones gray blue penetrates strongly into the soul of those who perceive it, Those who leave work the lines and geometry with a fascination and care when configuring the composition, fractured faces are perceived simultaneously on the horizon line, ending up to the bottom corner right, all remain with their eyes closed in a look of tiredness, in the upper area of the center a range of yellows and oranges breaks strongly in a contrast of what could be some houses.

Dynamism of a cyclist (1913)

By 1913 the works that were previously perceived by the figures only reached to find a way to interpret the movement and faithfully capture it, the color ranges used here is truly a beauty, the expressionism that can provide bright colors such as yellow that shapes it the character, under some wheels that fade into a light blue with a fleeting brushstroke, in turn retouches with small spots on lines that meet each other giving the cyclist a vibrant look, it is much harder to interpret it as such. unlike the previous one, but it is synthesized there waiting to be deciphered, immortalizing the energy and movement within the painting.
