Found a Cagged Buffalo
The stackitus was calling so I stopped in to pick up some meds. While I was there I found this caged buffalo. I though to myself who would do such a thing.
It honestly made me laugh. I was thinking who puts these in air tights? Especially when it already has some scratches. Well don't worry little buddy I'll free you from in there!
Honestly I figured for my flat generic rate I might as well get the free air tight. 🤣 I figure the Buffalo will go right in to the melt pile now! Now I was never big on air tights until recently. For those of you who are more experienced with them, would you put a generic like this in one? If so, why?
All my collection(coins) are in capsules or slabbed. On some of my rounds, those I think are pretty/different, I also use capsules just to preserve.
I do for the ones that after cool or special myself.
As you said, no idea why anyone would bother with an air tight for something already damaged ?!

Only if they are made of silver or gold. I use to collect other coins when I was younger.
I'll throw just about anything in an Air Tite. I have bags of them laying around, may as well use them. Free the Buffalo!

I had family who got these for gifts for the kids once, with that in mind that would explain the airtight to me as one possible explanation.
