The most important addition to your post is that my great great grandpa founded the Jekyll Island Club! He bought the land from his wife’s family who had owned the entire island for generations and had a plantation (yes... that kind of plantation) on the island. 😳 My great great grandfather was the man who then recruited all of the club’s original members!
