Death Never Looked So Good!

Good Day my friends and welcome to D Wings World!! Now many of you may have seen this round on my previous Halloween Shout Out post, but I wanted to revisit it and give it the respect it deserves. This round is produced by Monarch Precious Metals and is a special addition with a limited mintage of only 10,000! Behold the 1oz Grim Reaper Death Ultra High Relief for 2018:

(Obverse)

The obverse features an image of the Grim Reaper behind a gothic style fence holding the sands of time in one hand with his signature scythe in the other, which he utilizes to cut your soul from your physical form. In addition to that beautiful image, the background is a true thing of wonder as it is set so deep in the round and has several grave markers the most defined of which has R.I.P. and Roman numerals for the year. The tree and the moon appear to be in the distant background, but have just as much detail the rest of the round. It is gorgeously toned and antiqued that helps to make the extremely deep cameo pop even more.

(Reverse)

The reverse of this round is the same as the 2017, which if I remember correctly was the first year of issue. Toward the top you will see Monarch Precious Metals maker mark with "One Try Ounce 999 Fine Silver" under it. The font is meant to keep the gritty feel of the round by being jagged. At the Center you see the silhouette of the Reaper walking away from graves is featured in front of on the obverse. On the ground under him the words "Limited Edition of 10,000" are scrolled in the same font as above.

I will tell you this my friends. This piece was specifically bought to be gifted to someone, but after holding it I will have one! They are made wonderfully and are stunning in hand. I would highly recommend this round and the 10,000 mintage makes it even more desirable in my opinion.
