Today's pickups
Today's silver pick ups, I went to a carboot and the row behind me was a stall also selling coins, I had a root through his cheap coin tubs and picked all the silver out and I also bought a Kennedy 1964 half dollar.
1930 Canada 10 cents
2.33g of Canada's finest 0.800 silver, it features King George V and had a mintage of 1.8 million
Victorian shilling
I also got this from the cheap tub but it is drilled but I picked it up for a little over 1/3 of spot, it is too nice to melt but I have plans to put a jump pink on it and have a customer in mind for it.
The rest
1964 Kennedy half dollar 90% silver
1942 Washington quarter 90% silver
1951 and 1960 Roosevelt dime 90% silver
1928,44,45 sixpence 50% silver
Nice mix of coins there. I like the kennedy!
I like the Canadian $.10. It is a coin with character.
It sounds like you were able to get a few good deals! Gotta love the US Constitutional silver.
I like getting those silver quarters and dimes. I found an LCS that sells that at spot price. I have started picking up a fair amount of it every time I visit. Can't beat that price. :)
You got some good finds today, man. I like those Canadian pieces. Being in the USA, I mainly have local stuff, but those are nice. Nicely done.
Very nice gdw — you have a great eye!
Thank you for your continued support of SteemSilverGold
I like the vintage Canadian silver from that time. not much locally and seems to carry a decent premium. is it just me, or since we went off silver coins, the designs are no where near as good?
