Petty Officer- Master-at-Arms Ickied was taken aback by the strange reading from the fortune teller. He ran his hand through his hair as he tried to understand…

“Cannae be true! Ahh hav nae information o’ onie fleets in th' Arabian Brine, nur diz mah Commandin' Officer!" Ickied said emphatically.
“The shells never lie…”
“Piece o' gull droppins! Th' heel wi' yer broken shells! Superstition an' non-sense!" Ickied said indignantly as he stood up from the bench and tossed five coppers on the teller’s table before walking away.

The evening was now well set-in and the dancing and music was beginning to wind down. Ickied walked back to the center of the square, finding Axwellsilver happily sipping on an ale…

“Ahh swaur thes place is bewitched!" He said as he sat down next to Axwellsilver.
“Wa is 'att Sairrr?”
“Missing men, strange fortune tellers, whit’s next? Ghosts?!” Ickied vented.
“Ghosts Ah think it is Sairrr, look who’s comin' up th' trail an hoor late..."

Breaking into the village clearing at a fast pace came Seaman-Ordinary Seaman Teemitag! His face was pale and he looked relieved to be joining the rest of the crew.

“Hey mucker! Whaur in heel hae ye bin?!" Ickied yelled as he stood back up.

Teemitag came over to the bench looking a little winded…

“Pardon me Sairrr, but Ahh had th' strangest experience in th' woods by th' stream!"
“We hav bin wonderin' if ye drowned in 'att brook! What's taken ye sae lang tae fill thee water barrels?!" Ickied asked.
“Sairrr, Ahh had a mysterious thing happen! A yoong hen cam tae th' stream an' was beckonin' me tae follaw 'er! But Ahh had a wierd feelin' 'att fowk waur nae wantin' me tae gang with ‘er. Ahh also sensed danger in th' woods! Sae Ahh followed yer orders an' left 'er standin' thaur..." Teemitag said with a bewildered expression.
“Whit folk didnae want ye tae gang with ‘er?" Axwellsilver asked curiously.
“Ahh’m nae sure, it was like voices in mah heed!"

Ickied turned and looked at Axwellsilver a moment with a raised eyebrow.

“Come alang noo mate, ye did th' reit thing. Sit doon an' hav a brew, it will settle yer nerves!" Ickied said as he seated the young sailor on the bench and poured him an ale, “Th' night is gettin' late an' we hav a large hut rented. Ahh think it will be a guid idea if we shove-aff in th' morn!"
“Aye, an’ me too!” Teemitag said as he took a long swig of ale.

“Sae whit was it 'att th' fortune teller had tae say Sairrr?" Axwellsilver enquired as he eyed a young girl dancing in the firelight.
“A bunch o’ glaikit jobby! Aw aboot a terrible battle in th' Arabian Brine, screamin' an' hollerin', smoke an' fire..." Ickied replied as his mind pondered the awful image.
“A battle in th' Arabian brine?! Wi' who?!"
“Ahh dunnae know! Th' womin is bampot! An' it cost me fife coppers!"
