Chinese military pay bars
Hello Steemit family, welcome back to my page. On this post I want to share a couple new Chinese military pay bars. The Chinese government used these to pay their soldiers in the early 600s A.D.
So far I've only been able to find a 1oz and a 2oz. I'm always looking to add more so if anyone has some or know someone e with some, please let me know. Why would anyone deface such beautiful bars stamping arabic numbers on them?
From what I've been able to find is the first row is rank and number, second row is purity, and the third row is weight.
