Gold in The Lone Star State
In the past I used to travel a lot to Houston, Texas. I always admired the the way Texans were proud of their state and that deep in their hearts they think and act independent from the rest of the USA.
Last Monday I noticed a nice article on kitco.com regarding the opening of the Texas Bullion Depositary, the first state administered precious metal depository in the USA.
Eventually the permanent building will be 50,000 square feet tall. If you want to read the article:

Texans want their gold right where it belongs, in Texas!!
It will give the state independence against the Federal institutions.
A smart move, considering the fact that the FED is manipulating the nations and therefore the States wealth.
Enjoy y’all
Thank you for your continued support of SteemSilverGold
I read the same. We have quite some stackers in Texas! Maybe they will deposit here.
If it is a state government "safe", what is the difference from federal government "safes"?
Sorry for my late reply:
I am not a US citizen so I hope some US friends will correct me if I am wrong.
The USA is a federal republic of 50 (?) independent states. So you have a federal government and a State governments.
The Financial system is in its basic ruled by Federal law. Also the financial reserves are therefore governed by the Federal law.
Now the State of Texas is building it’s own State gold reserve outside of the federal system. This makes them more independent from the federal government. Basically they are protecting their wealth and keep it within the borders of the State of Texas, safe from federal laws and regulations.
Excellent @rolf.bakker. And thanks for your support!!
USA confiscated their citizens gold holdings in the 1930s, what happens once can happen twice.
