# 133 - America the Beautiful Quarters - Part 4
Continuing the State Quarters series, the US Mint started in 2010 a new series depicting a national park or national site, one from each state, the District of Columbia, and each territory. It is called "America the Beautiful".
They will be issued in the order of which that park or site was deemed a national site.
Each year five different coins representing five different parks or sites will be minted.
All the coins obverses show the same profile of George Washington and the reverses were usually chosen in popular contests in each state.
Here are three more coins issued in this series.
The first is the 2011 "Chickasaw National Recreation Area" in Oklahoma. It was deemed a National Park on July 1, 1902. The obverse depicts the Lincoln Bridge.
The second is the 2012 "El Yunque National Forest" in Puerto Rico. It was deemed a National Park on January 17, 1903. The obverse depicts a Puerto Rican parrot and a coqui tree frog.
The third is the 2012 "Chaco Culture National Historical Park" in New Mexico, It was deemed a National Park on March 11, 1907. The obverse depicts two elevated kivas that are part of the Chetro Ketl complex.
