Continuing the Modern Commemoratives Half Dollar series, we will present you today the 1995-S "Baseball" graded by PCGS PR70 DCAM.
All coins of this series weight 11.34g with 91.67% copper and 8.33% nickel. They were issued in Proof and Brilliant Uncirculated finish.
They will be presented in the order they were minted.
This coin was part of ambitious coin program issued for the XXVI Olympiad Summer Games held in Atlanta, Georgia.
The obverse of the coin features a batter, catcher, and umpire. It was designed by Edgar Z. Steever.
The reverse of the coin features the symbol for the Atlanta Committee for the Olympic Games in the center of a map.
A total of 118,087 coins were minted in San Francisco. The issue price was U$12.50. The actual price is around U$290.00 in this grade.

Very good investment at $12.50 during the Atlanta Olympics.
It would be a great investment if you knew that it would grade PR70...As I don't like to gamble in my collection, I always buy them already graded.
