# 431 - Some Casino Chips - Part 1
Usually stackers buy silver/gold coins, medals, bars or rounds.
I will show you now another kind of stackable material : Casino Chips.
There are many different values with different weights and different metals. The collectors call them Strikes.
The $2 and $3 strikes are made of brass.
The $7 strikes are made of 99.9% silver and weight about .65oz.
The $10 strikes have a 99.9% silver center insert with an outer ring in brass. They have about .6oz in silver and .6oz in brass. The diameter is 43mm.
There are also the $20 strike, the $28 strike, the $40 strike, the $200 strike and the $300 strike.
The $200 and the $300 stikes weight 12oz of 99.9% silver and may have some 24kt Heavy Electroplating.
I will show you all that I have in several articles. They are all $10 strikes.
These two are from the Excalibur Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. It was inaugurated on June, 19 1990 and has 4,008 rooms.
The first shows a knight on horseback pointing the lance to an enemy.
The second shows a warrior with an enormous sword attacking a dragon.

After I bought some chips, because they were silver chips, I had to search for information. There are a few sites on the internet that have such an info.
