# 92 - O Canada in Silver - Part 2

We will now continue presenting the "O Canada" silver series issued by the RCM in 2013.

The series replicates several aspects of Canadian history, animals, places and traditions.

Each coin is a $10 weighting 15.87g with silver purity 99.99% and Matte Proof finish.

The first is the 2013 "The Polar Bear". It celebrates a symbol of the power and vastness of Canada’s northern landscape, the Polar Bear. In a nation dominated by weather extremes, the Polar Bear’s ability to survive and thrive in the harshest climate reflects Canadians’ stalwart pragmatism and spirit of adventure.

The second coin is the 2013 "Summer Fun". It presents a scene centered around a waving man sitting in a Muskoka chair on the dock, overseeing four children as they dive and swim in the cool lake waters. In the background, a balcony-fronted cabin sits nestled among the smooth rocky outcropping of the wooded shoreline. The sky is filled with stylized sunbeams radiating the warmth of summer days spent together in nature’s bounty.

The third coin is the 2013 "The Wolf". It presents a full-body portrait of a lone wolf in a Canadian forest. The wolf stands at ease, tail relaxed behind it; nevertheless, its bent hind paws appear ready to leap to safety at a moment’s notice. The wolf gazes towards the viewer, its mouth low and slightly open in a wolfish grin.
