Today I share with you an unboxing. I bought 100 one ounce rounds (as well as a couple of other pieces). They're not new and shiny, they're... VINTAGE. Some of them dating back to the 1970s.

Some of you may say... "Well I have underwear older than that... that's not vintage". First of all, get some new underwear. Secondly... silver bullion is different. Silver has volatile pricing. And historically when the price goes up people take old coins, grandmas silver, and anything else they can get their hands on and melt it for market. So when price goes back down and they start collecting again most of the stuff on the market is the new stuff.

So for something to make it 40+ years is kind of impressive. Most of these companies (that made vintage bullion rounds) have gone out of business or been bought out. Or at the very least that particular style of round has been discontinued.
