Lets make this HAPPEN

Yesterday i wrote a post about the idea of starting up a Steemsilvergold community trail, you can click here to read more about that if you missed it. I can see that there will be enough interest in this project to get the ball rolling and get er started.

Whats happened so far..

Last night i set the @myprecious account with steemauto and then i created the trail for the group under the name ''myprecious''. I made a small description which reads ''This Trail has been set up for members of the #steemsilvergold steemit group tag. This account is being ran from @myprecious by @silverstackeruk''. It's good to go i think so i decided to be the first member to join up and take the chance to make a screenshot step by step of the process for members interested in joining the myprecious Steemsilvergold trail. Please note, all are welcome to join but only members of Steemsilvergold will be placed on the fanbase list to receive upvotes. I have to put this one right at the beginning as a protect my ass from future drama.

Here are members that have committed to joining the trail. Let's hit 50 members by next week!!!

Joining the 'myprecious' Steemsilvergold Trail

First off, you will need to sign up with Steemauto. You can click the click there and you will be brought to this page.



After you click on the Register in the red circle, you will get a pop up asking you to use steemconnect to sign in. You can use you posting private key for this which is found in your steemit wallet in the permissions tab.



After you do that, you will be brought to this page. I have done a screenshot from the myprecious sign up as i already had an account but the rest of the process is from my account. Now it is asking for permission for steemauto to beable to cast upvotes and make comments. The comments will never be set up so no worries there. You have to complete this final sign up step to beable to use the platform. I used steemconnect to complete this step



Now, after you click continue, you will need to enter in your steemit username and either your 'active' are 'owner' private keys. I would recommend using your active private key over the owner key. This can be found in your wallet under permissions. You will need login to show these private keys. Enter in your password and click confirm



Now you have given permission for steemauto to make upvotes when you join a trail, you are good to get signed up to the myprecious Steemsilvergold trail. Let's get started in this couple step process. Click on the curation trail tab



Then, find your way to search for trail half way down the page and enter in myprecious



You will by brought to this page were you can simply click on the follow buttom. You can get a confirm message which you click through, then you get a bright green pop up to confirm.



Your page to change and look like this giving you the option for setting. You can click on this



In here, all i do is change to voting weight. I give everything else as is. I changed mine to 20% from the default 50% and clicked on save settings.



On the Steemauto side menu, i select curation trail to verify it's gone through ok. I can see that it is there and it is enabled.

Job Done. That's a wrap

You will now have successfully joined up to the new Steemsilvergold curation upvoting trail. I will check this daily and update members onto the fanbase to receive upvotes. Rules are to be finalized but for now, rules are set as upvotes are done by @myprecious at 50% after 5 minutes and each member get's 2 votes a day.

Well Looky here @tnbfl4sun has found us already

In the hour i have been making this post, i can see we have our first trailer, follower, first member to join up. Nice one brother and thank you. I have can added you to the trail fanbase to start getting upvotes.

Why the hell not?

@raybrockman started a trail a few weeks back and he has 12 members signed up his so far. Sorry, i mean 13 now :) You decide the voting weight so why not?

A word about @myprecious

This is an account that was set up months ago by @guiltyparties the group's witness to hold the membership list to help him with his daily steemsilvergold posts. He gave me the keys to maintain the list and that is all it has been used for since then. ssg-community also uses this accounts follower list to maintain it's voting list but there has never been any posts are activity from this account. The name ''myprecious'' is just lucky given the name of our new upvoting bot and no point letting it go to waste. I might make posts from this account with trail updates but i might not need to, we'll see. For now, @myprecious is an acting 3rd party group account to be used and abused for the greater good.
