Now that I learned about the existence of the Royal Australian Mint, I ask you: Are both governamental? Why don't I find pieces issued by it, only pieces issued by Perth Mint?

The Royal Australia Mint makes most of the coinage for the Country of Australia.

The Perth Mint
Whilst wholly-owned by the Government of Western Australia, The Perth Mint is a commercially focused business that is entirely self funded while still paying the Government the equivalent corporate income tax plus 75% of its after tax profits as a dividend.
