All Aboard!!! Steem to the Moon 🚀🚀🚀

If you are reading this then you must have an interest in the price of Steem and SBD.

These are insanely low prices compared to the highs we saw in Dec/Jan, and a rather bizarre ratio too — Steem is usually priced higher. What “tf” is going on? Unfortunately i don’t know either. It seems like both these tokens are undervalued right now given the speed, efficacy and zero tx cost associated with them. The Steem blockchain is a magnificent network that has only just begun to be appreciated for all that it can do.

However, without a broader user base both the “currencies” and this entire platform will be relegated to “fringe interest” at best, and at worse, will disappear altogether. Now i’m not trying to be dramatic or predict any doomsday scenario. But what i am trying to highlight is the fact that we need a greater demand for Steem/SBD tokens and that can only be created by an expansion of the user base here. (Unless of course we all just want to turn this place into an echo chamber too). We need new Steemians, new posters, new content, new interests and awesome new people to meet and maybe become friends with! I know for my part i feel like i have met many people here that i am pleased to call friends — i’ve even met a couple of ‘em face2face @ronaldoavelino and @senstless and they have both been stand-up dudes!

Let’s bring in more awesome people! And prosper on many different levels. I have been thinking about this subject for a while and so today was the day to make a post about it — especially after seeing the following:

And a disclaimer: yes, i still have an open fb account... although i only use it now as a rolodex and, primarily, a place to shout out about Steemit!

I shared this to my profile and wrote the little blurb about Steemit — and i would encourage you to do the same. If i were on #instagram or #twitter I would be spreading the word there too.

When i signed up 14 months ago i was high 200k’s. Now i think there has been about 1.1 million accounts opened — and yeah...many are bots or innactive. Only 1.1 million people worldwide is a pretty small slice of the social-network pie. Indeed, we are like a secret enclave of free thinkers/writers/stackers and mackers. Let’s let ‘em all in!!!

Tell everyone! Sign up your grandma! Teach your coworkers! Hook up your kids (if they’re 18+) and let people you interact with know that you are interested in this platform for all the right reasons. Which for me are: the non-censoring aspect and the potential great financial rewards. And that’s to say nothing of the free education available here nor the great stimulation begot from exercising that beautiful lump on your shoulders! 😜👍

To get as many new people on board as possible, and to encourage new organic growth here for the benefit of all. Don’t worry about the fud, or the greedy whales — that is endemic across all human relations — just keep on swimming! And invite as many people as possible into this great big giant awesome pool!
