Coin of the Day 11-5-18
Today's "token" is from the Cub Scouts of America. It's part of the small lot of tokens and coins I was gifted by a friend.
The front says "Do Your Best" and "Help Other People."
The reverse says "I ... (the cub scout's name goes there) promise to do my best - to do my duty to God and my country To help other people, and to obey the Law of the Pack."
I looked up what the "Law of the Pack" is, and found that it's this:
Law of the Pack
The Cub Scout follows Akela (the pack leader).
The Cub Scout helps the pack go.
The pack helps the Cub Scout grow.
The Cub Scout gives goodwill.

Interestingly enough, it also said, "As of June 1, 2015, the Cub Scout Promise and the Law of the Pack have been retired."
It says that, "Cub Scouts now use the Scout Oath and the Scout Law, instead."
They have kept the Cub Scout Motto though, which is:
"DO YOUR BEST"
