Another coin from my dad!!!

What’s up everyone? And the weather is doing it again! Now we are under a winter weather storm warning, just sitting here waiting on it to start!!

Today I went to my dads and we had another sit down and talked coins!! First we poured us a crown and coke, then he started telling me about how he got into collecting. I learned some stuff that I never knew about him. He told me that he had a bunch of coins from when he was in Vietnam. He served 4 years in Vietnam and he really has never talked about anything that went on over there and I don’t ask. Today he told me some stories that blew my mind!! By this time I’m pouring or third crown and coke!! Lol After talking for over and hour he went to his safe and pulled a coin and I just about lost it!! It was a 1995 $100 gold coin!! Holy shit I couldn’t believe it! He said he got it in 1996 and has never took it out of his safe since.

After showing it to me he put it back in the box that it came in and said “Put this one up and never pull it back out”!! He said he wants it to go to my son when I’m ready to pass it down! This has to be the coolest thing that has ever happened to me! I can’t wait till next month! Ok that’s about it for today, now time for some NASCAR!! Everyone have a great day!!
