We are back with another edition of NBA Fantasy Tonight! There are three games on the board tonight so it will be very important to figure out what star to use and what stars to fade.
But first, did you catch what Lebron James and the Lakers did last night at home? They were down by 8 points to the Spurs in the 4th quarter and Lebron was having a slow fantasy basketball night, but then he went off! Lebron scored 20 points in the 4th and had one of the biggest nights on the board.
And not to be outdone, Paul George put up 25 points in the 4th for the Thunder including a walk off 3 pointer. So what will tonight bring? Let's get started with the point guard position.
K Irving PG 9000. Kyrie Irving is having kind of a quiet season so far for the Boston Celtics. He isn't playing bad by any means, but he is also not playing at an MVP level either. Tonight he will have a very favorable match-up at home against a terrible New York Knicks team and should have a big night.
D Mitchell SG 7600. Donovan Mitchell burst onto the scene last year as a rookie. He was one of the most explosive players in the NBA and he had the Utah Jazz playing great ball. But this year the team is a bit off and Mitchell needs to step it up now that he is completely healthy. I think he will have a solid fantasy night at home against the Houston Rockets.
R Gobert C 8300. Rudy Gobert is having a fantastic season so far. The Frenchman is averaging over 40 fantasy points per game. Tonight he will go head to head with Clint Capela of the Rockets. I like the speed and quickness for Gobert over Capela. He should be a double-double machine tonight and add in a few blocks for a very good stat line.
