OPTIMISM TOWARD ASIAN GAMES XVIII JAKARTA-PALEMBANG 2018
Asian Games XVIII Jakarta-Palembang 2018 becomes the second event for Indonesia as the home page. Earlier in 1962, For the first time the Asian Games took place in Jakarta. Asian Games 1962 arguably become a means of proving Indonesia to answer the challenge of International.
After 55 years passed, Indonesia bsrkesempatan back to Host Asian Games. Indonesia's appointment to host the 2018 Asian Games is full of twists and turns. Initially, Asia appoints Hanoi, Vietnam as host of the 2018 Asian Games. However, Vietnam's economic condition is less stable to make the country resign. Finally, After the assessment, Indonesia is hosting this year's opportunity.
This appointment is not final. Initially, the OCA wants the Asian Games to be held in 2019. However, with the consideration that in that year there was a presidential election in the country, the hosting of the Asian Games was promoted in 2018.
