The Pizza Shop- Presented on Steemstar After Dark!
I've had the pleasure of writing scripts for @carrieallen's new radio show Steemstar After Dark. She is looking for funny so I googled to learn more about humor and irony. I was happy with my writing and I am here to present yet another short skit titled, "The Pizza Shop". This happens every time my husband try to decide on pizza toppings, so this is not a far stretch from the truth which makes it funny to me.

Bill
Umm... I’m not sure. Carla what did you want to get; a plain pepperoni pizza?
Carla
Yes, I guess, unless you want something else.
Bill
No, that’s fine we will have a plain pepperoni pizza please.
Cashier
Okay, one pepperoni pizza did you want that medium or large?
(cash register sound)
Bill
I think medium will be enough.
Cashier
One medium pepperoni pizza…
(cash register sound)
Carla
Wait, Bill I don’t think a medium will be enough.
Bill
Okay so then we’ll get a large…
Cashier
One large pepperoni pizza.
(cash register sound)
Carla
Okay, but then can we add another topping because plain pepperoni just seems boring.
Sara
This place is boring!
(pause for laughter)
Carla
Sara honey don’t climb on the chairs.
Bill
What about green peppers?
Carla
(quietly)
You know green peppers give me gas.
I like pineapple.
Bill
There’s no way I’m eating a pizza with pineapple. Fruit is not an acceptable pizza topping.
Sara
Pineapple!
Carla
Sara please don’t touch those candy machines.
Ok then pepperoni and mushrooms.
Sara
Ewww mushrooms.
Bill
I agree with Sara no mushrooms. What about anchovies?
Sara
What are ancheovies?
Carla
They are fish.
Sara
Ewww I don’t want fish on my pizza. No way!
Carla
Okay how about onions?
Bill
Onions give me bad breath. Let’s just get a large plain pepperoni pizza.
Carla
Are you sure?
Bill
Yes, I’m sure.
Okay, we’ll have a large plain pepperoni pizza please.
Cashier
Would you like that thick crust, thin crust, or hand tossed?
Bill
We could be here all night.
