That's fascinating. Salicylic acid is basically asprin which thins blood and exasperates asthma and eczema, yet yarrow is beneficial for bleeding and these conditions. Obviously the anti-inflammatory properties would be useful without the side effects but in the plant it is perfectly balanced with other actives to get the most out of the good and reduce the unwanted effects.
