Actually, you were not supposed to introduce them... They are already on Steem: @quantum.kate and they will introduce themselves when they will be ready, at some point, after I will chat more with them.
So in short, there is no need to contact them further... And please ask me before, the next time you want to do such a thing... you spoiled SteemSTEM's plans :(

something's been gnawing me for a few days and i was loathe to ask (so please don't feel pressed to answer at lightspeed lol)
Does sound travel faster in cold air ? I have a feeling the noise is louder at night lately, carries further. Something to do with molecular density or something maybe, i don't know.
Maybe not something on the field of specialty for a particle physicist but i wouldnt know anyone here who i could ask something like that ?

No it is the opposite: sound travels slower is cold air. In warm air, the air molecules move faster and are thus more easily excited. This hence provides a better medium for sound propagation.
