the internet is an educational marvel!

If you live in a country with a less than appealing education system especially when it comes to post-secondary school then this article is for you. I recently have been using a couple of websites that provide certification and university level education for free! That means you could learn almost anything they provide, on your own time from top universities around the world. I used to really like Udemy but after discovering these two sites I will likely not be going back.

Free College Courses

Looking to get a college level education on little to no budget? Well it looks like you should be checking out EDX for your educational needs. EdX is a platform designed and supported by top universities such as Harvard and Stanford, who have come together to provide courses on almost every subject you could think of from computer science to neuroscience you are likely to find it on EdX. I recently started taking a Mandarin Chinese language course that I really like. The platform is pretty easy to use and allows folks to choose between free courses and paid courses for college credits. check them out you won't regret it!

Free Computer Science Certification Courses

For all you aspiring blockchain programmers and computer wizards I suggest Cybrary. Over at cybrary yo can find anything computer science related from beginners HTML to Advanced Penetration testing and more. All courses and material are offered for free and if you would like to get certified all you have to pay for is the exam. My first course there was Comp TIAA+ which really helped me last year when I was building cryptocurrency miners. I Amnow learning some basic Linux skills as well as looking to get my CISCO certification. Cybrary is probably my favorite technical education site because of the in-depth videos and documentation they provide for learners.

Learning should not be a burden

For years education was a huge financial burden for me, I am still paying for a college degree that I don't use. Maybe I chose the wrong profession but regardless educational choices shouldn't cost you nearly $100,000 and even more when you account for interest. In today's world, the people hiring are not looking to see what university you went to they want to see what skills you have and what you can provide their teams. This new era of the internet means that folks will be able to learn things previously relegated to the rich and powerful. We are in an age of knowledge and growth so don't get left behind! Use your resources and learn something new for free.
