Hah. You guys in Florida have it good. Here in Canada 56°F is called a good summer's day. That's swimmin' weather.
Interesting article BTW.
I was born in St. Louis and used to walk to school in the snow when I was a kid. However, after 40 years of living in Florida my blood has thinned out. I'm still not as bad as a native Floridian - they put on winter coats when it drops below 60. LOL.
