The cooling system is indeed a vital part of the Automobile engine. A typical peak combustion temperature could reach about 3000 ^oC. Imagine such immense quantity of heat building up without any restraints.

However, I observed that your images are not well linked to their sources. Also, the image under the subheadings "circulation" is not very related albeit it shows a cooling system. You could create a schematic yourself to illustrate to us better.
