I've definitely been on kayak trips that went on an hour or two longer than my muscles anticipated and had a heck of a slog back. I didn't have to dodge gators though!
Great story all the way through.
I almost didn't go on that trip because I was just starting an upper respiratory infection which floored me the day after that trip. It was worth it though. :)
