what do you think is the best way to add value to this platform?
Am pretty sure every one of us on this platform is benefiting from this decentralized system, last weekend in our steem- meet up we threw a question to all the members that attended asking "how steemit has improved their lives " We really got brilliant answers some have bought laptops, phones, bought clothes, paid the debts and rent fees but the main point was people have got alot of knowledge about cryptocurrency, life, business and much more but what impressed me more is @jaraumoses mentioned he does not seek for a jobanymoree and he is currently using the knowledge from this platform to make himself a better man. "Education is not just about going to school and getting a degree. It's about widening your knowledge and absorbing the truth about life" Just his statement lured me to think that people are not here to just read, comment and earn money but there is more to that, people are here to drain as much knowledge as they can.

okay we are glad we are among the early adopters of this platform and yes we can happily say steemit has provided a life that we never imagined but how can we make it a better place for the other people that will join and how can we add value

firstly

investing in steem power is one of the best things we can do as for now remember the more power you have the more influence you get and besides at one point in our lives we would all love to feed someone just imagine the joy your vote will bring to some one's life. currently we have so many projects that are running, for example, the @yensesa that is working on exchanging steem back dollars directly to fiat without having to go through a long process, promo - steem that is curating posts for people are promoting steem to the world you know the more our numbers grow the higher the value of steem and more so just a delegation or your vote can change a life in another country. let not look at withdrawing our rewards but keep them and help the people that will come in the future, for example, if nobody invested in steem power who would be curating our posts so no one and it would not make sense. it saddens my heart when I see people powering down okay I understand they have personal reasons but who will curate the newbies like literally, we have so many posts under the #introduceyourself tag and these newbies are waiting for some love from us

publishing quality content by quality I mean something that one reads and it adds value to them, other than the money everyone here wants to gain insight into a number of things, expand their knowledge and the only way people are going to get insight if we try as hard as we can to produce good content am sure it is only good content that is going to distinguish this platform from other social media platform,if we have the ability to attract more useful readers besides some one reading some thing on steemit doesnot require an account so the higher the quality the higher the value am glad to say there a number of accounts, for example, @asapers, @curie and pay it forward curation that are trying as hard as they can to discover quality stuff .

Thirdly

creativity is what is going to move us forward by the way the people that are creative are the ones that win on this platform it is your head that makes you earn. The steemians have created a lot of things in a short while in several ways, for example, some have specialized in training newbies on how to have a safe stay here, there have been tags created like #ulog, #promo-steem, #joinsteemit, #naijapidgin and more. IF each of us tries as hard as they can to produce something new here then it will be a good deal for steemit

Currently, I reward topics that catch my attention have not yet selected certain topics and I do not think I will in the future though I love to curate the new posts with the delegation I got like I look at the #introduceyourself tag and to be honest am into curating posts with certain tags as well if you want to know to leave a comment, I will definently tell you in the comment section as for downvotes mainly I downvote the spammers, the thieves with sugar comments of "click this link and get 100SBDs per week " those ones I do not wait for @arcange notification I flag there and then
