Diptych Picture of Ferns

Hello friends, today I join the initiative of @steemwomenclub, a contest that I love because it allows us to enjoy art and express it in its various manifestations. This time I have made a diptych painting, using reusable materials, elements of nature and other materials. It is an ideal painting to decorate a space in our home.

Materiales:

2 DVD cases
1 sheet of white foami
Cold paints
A square
Silicon gun
Brushes
Brown painted wood
Fern leaves
Scissors
Cutter

Step by step procedure

I start by cutting two pieces of foami with the necessary measurements to cover the DVD case and have a few centimeters left over around it.

After having the foami cut, I proceed to paint, in this case I used yellow, orange, white and brown tones, I blur until I achieve a suitable combination, which allows to contrast with the tone that I will use later.

In this step I used fern leaves, applying green and yellow paint to stamp as desired until I made several leaves, then with a fine brush I traced the stems of the leaves.

Finally, I proceeded to glue the foami on the DVD cases, and then placed them on the brown wood.
