This fish is a fresh water fish, They call it Bawal Emas. I guess it's a new breed of fish because I have never seen this fish in the market before. This fish only appear in the market just a couple of years back.
It has gold colour in some part of the body but sometimes the gold colour covers almost 90% of the body. no scales on it.
The shape of the body is similar to our common salt water fish "Bawal Hitam or Bawal Putih"

Then..... this is what happen... and the regret starts.. why? because when you taste this fish you can't resist buying this fish whenever you see this fish in the market.. it's awesomely delicious taste specially if you steam it. this fish will always in your mind.. .. hahahahaha...

If u buy at Bataras supermarket rm20/kg, and if u buy at Lido fishmarket it's rm25/kg.
