Bazaar at the Coast of Borneo
Adventure at Tanjung Aru. Judging people and the market. In fact, the abstinence that I had to compromise, being diagnosed a diabetic, everything seemed to be forbidden.
My favourite part was the sight of TARAP!!! Heavenly organized white fleshed fruit, I wish I could have some but one TARAP costed RM20. Apa??? Yes, RM20 (previous years below RM6 per)
As much as I despise the reality, the products I saw them selling were so unhealthy. Sweet sugary drinks, mostly made from powder and concocted syrups. All the processed meat and deep fried food, the frying oil was used again and again until it became dark colored oil.
I don't condemn the vendors but I judge the people who buy them. Well, I couldn't help myself but I did purchase a 3-layered juice, lekor - a type of fritters made of minced fish, whole fish (judge me all u want) and beef, mutton chicken satays (meat skewers)...😜

TARAP
Cooked dumplings.
"Luk Luk" (pro. as look look) in Chinese meaning boil boil. You take one skewer and cook it by boiling inside a boiling soup, frying oil or a special sauce.
Wonderful looking satays @ skewers, so organized.
Seafood galore!
It's good to see Tg. Aru is slowly crowded with people once again. But, Tarap Rm20? I hope it does taste really good!🤣
