Sketch of the Day 23March2018
Continuing my lessons with shading, facial expression, and hair texture. I can see that I'm improving with the nose to lip ratio, as well as adding more expression to the eyes. I have added shading and lines in the face to indicate age and weathering, as if from the sun/wind. I included a hat, small scarf, and scarf pin for flair and personality. Done in 35 minutes on Canson Universal Sketch paper and using a Pasler 3B pencil.
Those eyes! She is not messing around! That is a perfect death stare!
