Proteas.
The protea is South Africa s national flower and start blooming in the WesternnCape during the winter months. We went for a Sunday hike in the beautiful Hottentots Holland mountains and I took this photo of a protea bush with the flowers barely open. The beautiful red pinks and greens made me wanna paint it and try to share the beauty of my area with my Steem friends. So here is a progress photo of my painting. Please vote and follow.
