Dookiebrownflow x Father Earth = Second Womb
Second Womb is a Duo hailing from southern New Jersey. Formed in late 2012 following a chance meeting at the legendary Sigma Sound Studios in Philadelphia. After a brief introduction and realizing their similar interests, Emcee DookieBrownFlow and Producer/Vocalist, Father Earth, quickly got to work.
The Womb embarked on a journey in 2015 beginning their "Live from the Cave" Ep series. Earth and Dookie released 1 Ep per month for a year straight, while touring the country at the same time. All music is original and unique in style. The duo took a break with the Ep releases in 2016 to promote the 12 Projects from the year prior, as well as starting a youtube series titled "the womb in ya room"! Skits and vlog style videos capturing the duo in there natural habitats and in unfamiliar ones. In 2017, The Live from the Cave series resurfaced.
The duo has never tied themselves down by trying to fit a mold or by confining their sound to current trends or any sort of genre-specific rules or expectations. Their music conveys an overall message of self-elightenment, oneness and well-being, sometimes conveyed through satirist views of the idiosyncrasies of modern culture and other times through pure, passionate expressions of their observations of this reality. This becomes evident upon the first listen.
