RE: Climate change: the culpability of electricity generation

in #stemng6 years ago

My dear Shaid, this is a wonderfully written post.

The first two paragraphs are so touching and well put. For me, it is inevitable not to think of wild animals whenever a discussion about climate changes ensues. If we are affected by it, imagine them.

Last year in Chile the weather was extreme to the point that we had the hottest summer in the past 30 years and the coldest winter in 57! During the summer the countryside and the pine forests where engulfed by wild fires. In the winter, the temperature dropped so low it snowed even in the capital city!

Thank you for raking the time to explain to us how the pros and cons of wind-generated electricity in a such straight-forward manner. The fan example was a really good start to it :D

Lots of love to you and all your loved ones.
I wish you a wonderful week ahead :*

Thanks for the thoughtful comment abii. More and more warnings keep coming out concerning c!image change, its causes and consequences but it seems to be falling on deaf ears. We keep seeing the effects but very little is being done to mitigate this phenomenon. I envisage there more deadly consequences in the next few years if something drastic is not done.
