Q: What does it take to make Fusion viable?
With the most recent climate change report issued this year, the urgency of reversing the greenhouse heating of the Earth atmosphere became apparent again.
Despite the renewable energy sector experiencing huge growth because of ever-cheaper microelectrical components which increased overall adoption and implementation of renewable clean energy sources, it appears that current efforts will not be enough for long-term energy sustainability of the ever-growing human civilization.
A radically different energy-source must be invented which has to be environmentally friendly but also to be infinite in regards to human energy consumption. To this we look to the power of the Stars!
In light of humanities greatest engineering challenge - building of the first experimental fusion reactor, to achieve energy surplus - ITER, what does it take to bring the infinite energy of the Sun to Earth?

We are looking forward to learn more about ITER!
From the time difference between both Q and A you can see the amount of time I put in. And I am only scrapping the surface of it. It is an enormous subject and I cant possibly do it justice.
