Who was that Hitler?

Someone said that to know what the world would be like if the Nazis had won the war, it would be enough to see and hear the news every day.

Nothing better than a fierce joke to tell a truth. This racist and xenophobic world, where some humans believe themselves superior to others, is the great triumph of the Nazis. They lost the war militarily, but they won it in the philosophical field, no matter how many hanged in Nuremberg. And above them was Hitler, whose life is still a surprise, quite unknown.

Hitler preached racial and physical superiority, although Max von Gruber, a German nationalist, a professor at the University of Munich, described it this way: "Face and head of bad race, mestizo, low, fugitive forehead, ugly nose, wide cheekbones, small eyes, black hair. Expression of the face: convulso insane." "His successes are explained, "Gruber adds," by that dreadful happiness he experiences before himself."

That insane convulsed, when he was 20 years old, wanted to commit suicide. At the last moment, a friend snatched the gun and saved his life. Perhaps with that act, without knowing it, he condemned to death about 70 million human beings.

His story of shadows begins with his own father, a man who tried to hide whenever he had been a shoemaker and achieved the dream of his life the day they put him in the uniform of a customs employee. He was the son of a single mother, surnamed Schicklgruber and the man took that name with shame, until his first marriage, with a girl of 14 years. Then he decided to change it for Hitler, which was the name of his mother-in-law. Then, in his third marriage, Adolfo was born, who should have been called Adolfo Schicklgruber, and not Hitler.

Hitler stopped studying at fifteen. Today would be almost illiterate. And although he was rejected on several occasions to become an arts student, he did not look bad. That is the tragedy. Picasso said that, if he could, he would have bought more than one painting from that young man who, at the age of 20, survived by feeding himself in charity hospices.

Then came jail, politics, religious madness, anti-Communist and anti-Zionist fever and, behind it, the German people fanatized believing in saviors. "I want to make war now that I'm young, to retire to paint. I am an artist, "he told the British Ambassador. Today, Hitler has more admirers in politics than in painting. The Goddess of Barbarism will never be short of the faithful.

In chess, on the other hand, it is the Goddess Reason, the lonely one, the one that must be imposed.
