This rocky looking plateau is deceiving and quite intimidating. That's because it was built to serve that exact purpose. Historically, fortresses are built in geographically advantageous places. The higher it is, the better line of sight and the easier it is to defend.

Climbing my way up, I understood exactly the reasons why fortresses are built up high. They are hard to reach and just climbing up is tiring enough.
