It was during one of our gist sessions during break time which almost every hour of the day. We had already covered our syllabus and we pretty much had nothing to do but to come to school daily to mark attendance, so, we had ample time to discuss about the necessary and unnecessary.

This was the case on this fateful day when my then best friend was being teased about her newest boyfriend, a handsome young man who's not just cute but also calm. She was being hailed on her catch. Not to be left out, I joined the gist and savoured every little detail, even as we mapped out plans to go check and screen the dude. Plans were made and yes, they were executed.

I am glad I joined that discussion that day. Do I love gossip that much? You might wonder. No, I don't love it but that gist that day brought one of the greatest blessings of my life to me.

Turns out The Catch and I attended the same primary school and we had some things in common. The flow was very easy, like a well greased piece of machinery. Not a surprise that even after so many years, we are still in touch.

Now, let me tell you about The Catch. As earlier stated, he is handsome, cute, easy going, hardworking and goodness me, he listens! You can always pour out your heart to him with the assurance that he will calm you down. He understands when to joke and when to be serious. He is smart, witty and sharp! I love him, deeply.
