Disputes over land become more relevant as the city seeks to modernise and create more housing for migrant workers from the country side.

The fringes of the city are no longer safe from real estate developers and soon, even these blocks of houses will be cleared for high rise towers. Urban fringes are an important piece of history, and soon they'll be transformed into something unrecognisable. There is not much that you can do but embrace change, but that's not to say you can't take a trip back in time and enjoy life as they were pre reform. As China becomes a rising importance in the world, it's city landscapes will look to transform with it.
