The Emotional Story Behind The Photo

This is not a great photo but there is a big story behind this composition.
This area is called Bhatta in Hindi which means in English "Brick making place". Three familes leave here with their kids. This morning I was there with my friend to get some bricks to construct a toilet. The parents were making the bricks in other corner and kids were playing with those bricks, few were writing something on bricks.

Then I start talking with parents and got something which had been difficult to swallow. The told me that by making the brick on daily basis they only get 300 rupees ($4.5) per day. In such amount they can not bare the education of all the kids. They ate only twice a day and that is too rice only.

All the kids were without clothes and sleepers, they were looking me and I was looking them and suddenly I saw one kid who had chalk and trying to write something on bricks, remember these bricks has been made by their parents. I was just looking him and he was writing and trying to teach the others.

He has little knowledge of education, he has only few words, he is not a student but with his less education he was trying to teach other kids. He is just a 7 year old boy. One of the parent told me that he use to go school once but he couldn't continue because his parent couldn't bare his monthly school fee.
So now this brick making place is their class room.

I am not saying that they need help instead I am saying that there are lot of prospectives of life to live. Life is complete without anything.
