I hope you all are doing great and I am back with a new episode of "The Good Cab, Bad Cab."

"You wouldn't believe what happened today". Raja said while fixing his tie.

Never believed him, "What happened?". I was forced to ask.

"The Cabbie was asking for 5-star rating for himself, what a horrible ride it was. I mean, first of all, a stripped down TATA Indica, the AC wasn't working, Do you know we drove all the way from my home to here without AC and rolled down windows. How do I look?" Still working on his tie.

"The condition of the AC and car should be the least of our concerns, You are late and we have to address the higher echelon" I frowned.

It was 10:20 AM. Damn it, Cabbie. I asked you not to take the shortcut and stick to google maps. But you arrogant bastard, You thought that taking a shortcut through a single lane in peak hours is a good idea. You have gotten me late for the meeting. And the Raja made sure that we are really late.

"My sincere apologies gentlemen". I said and I wasn't being sincere but more embarrassed. I was thinking why the cabbie doesn't have my kinda of dedication and ethics towards his work.

"Thank you for coming here, So let's start with the introduction and then we can proceed with the agenda". Mr. Gopinathan said calmly and I noticed none of these old people were in hurry. We were in for a long and boring meeting.

After what seems like an eternity of pain and suffering

"Ok gentlemen, That covers the first phase. Let's wrap it up for the day. I hope you have understood the requirements. And since I am not available for the rest of the week Mr. Jai, will be briefing you further. And please try to be on time for the next meeting" Mr. Gopinathan took a verbal stab.

"Will make sure that no such thing happens again" is all I could answer back. Damn you, Cabbie.

I should have logged a complaint on him for being rude and getting me humiliated. But would that be fair, It could be that he was having a bad day and he managed to rub that to mine, somehow.

"Ok Man!!!, See ya tomorrow. Try not to be late. Are you going home? I am heading that way maybe we can share a cab?" I offered.

"Buddy, It just 07:00 PM" and he heads toward the other direction, probably to a Bar to make plan and excuses to be late again.

I looked at the phone and checked 10mins till your ride arrives. I booked using the same cab service. Well, I believe that everyone deserves a second chance. then why not the cab service. 10mins has passed the application is still showing 5mins till your ride arrived. Perhaps I made the mistake of choosing the worst service available in cab history. I was about to cancel the ride when the phone started ringing.

"Hello". I answered.

"Sir, Naa driver pecure. Sorry sir, Kunchum late aaouvm. Naare traffic irruke. O 5min wait panne" [I am the Cab driver speaking. Sorry sir, I will be little late, I am stuck in traffic. Wait for 5mins]

After a brief moment I replied, "Ok, I will wait for 5mins".

I am not sure what made me stop from canceling the ride, Perhaps its a call from the cabbie. Or hearing the word sorry which I had been saying to others throughout the day. Or perhaps hearing the word sorry coming from a cab driver.

I received the notification, Your ride is here on the application.
