NEVER MISSING YOUNG CHILDREN

This young TNI officer was named Lieutenant Colonel Slamet Riyadi. In this photo he is shaking the hand of Major General F. Mollinger. Witnessed by Colonel J.H.M.U.LE. Ohl, the leader of the Dutch army in Solo. This incident occurred in the process of handing over the city of Solo to the TNI on November 12, 1949.

Colonel Ohl was very surprised to learn that his enemy in the battle was so young. When leading the battle, Slamet Riyadi was only 22 years old. What are you guys doing at 22?

Troops led by Slamet Riyadi often messed up the Dutch army. When he knew the enemy was a young man, the Colonel was shocked and amazed. Precisely misuh misuh.

Prior to this incident, on 7-11 August 1949, under the command of Slamet Riyadi, TNI troops succeeded in launching the Solo City General Attack.

As a result of this attack, the Dutch finally agreed to a ceasefire and handed over the city of Solo to the TNI command.

Moral of the story: don't underestimate young people. Age may be 22 years. But the fighting spirit is unmatched.
