Giving Social Media a Face - the Transition of Video into a Multi-Directional Form of Communication.
Hey everyone,
we are all living in a world which is more and more connected. We get in touch with people around the world, share ideas and thoughts in forums within seconds - whenever we want, where ever we want.
Since a couple of years nobody can neglect that video - with all its' power to share emotions, feelings and even non-verbal communication - is on the rise. However each and everyone is always sending out there, not truly connecting and interacting.
When we want to personally interact and react in an equal way, we are either bound to the informational limitations of text or we have to record a standalone video.
This made us as a group of three friends come up with an idea - what about giving all the commenters a face and foster a more human interaction with our peers online?
We created a software that enables viewers to leave time-stamped video-comments directly on top of videos. And others can even record answers on each of those comments.
