Just as we began to think that the mystery, covering the disaster, had disappeared, the research in the place where the meteorite fell, led to the confusion. The photographs of the hole caused by the asteroid showed that the falling object was in the form of a plus sign. All of a sudden, everyone began to question if an asteroid is likely to be in the form of a plus. In thousands of asteroid photographs taken by NASA, the plus-shaped ones did not even find the fingers of a hand, and they were assumed to resemble the plus-sign. Other pictures were taken from the scene and new images created from them. It would be more accurate to say that the falling object was a plus with curved ends.

Of course, it was important at what angle the object fell on Earth; Christians suggested that a giant cross-shaped object had landed on Earth, but that the long part had remained at the bottom, and that a plus-shaped shape had been formed on the ground. Because earth was close to the Apocalypse, Jesus had landed with the cross, and still, some people resisted the path of faith, how could God convey a more explicit message?

The plus form of projection of the falling object in the Earth's crust also led to excitement in the Muslim world. A part of the Muslims admitted that the falling object brought Jesus with it, as stated in the Qur'an in suras of Nisa and Zuhruf. They said that descent of Jesus is also a sign of the apocalypse in the Holy Qur'an. Some Muslims claimed that the shape of the falling object was in the form of two crescents united, which was the proof that Jesus had accepted Islam.

As scientists made detailed evaluations about the subject, the situation became even more blurred. The explosion of the collision caused the object to evaporate completely. The effect of a blast of this magnitude could have enabled the formation of shapes in the crater that does not match the geometry of the falling object. It was not right to assume that the internal composition of the object was homogeneous, but density in specific regions could be higher. Therefore, it would be misleading to predict the geometry of the object from the crater's shape. The hole was very hot even for robots designed to work in extreme conditions, much more time needed to reach an absolute result.

I spent so much effort to follow the flow of news about the falling object that I suddenly felt like an empty sack. My body resistance dropped. I swallowed a vitamin supplement with a glass of water, filled a cup of coffee, and looked out the window. The dust in the air was drastically reduced, yet the weather was not typical. Between the dark clouds, occasional thin blue stones were falling. Blue rocks were said to originate from ionized radiation fields formed at high levels of the atmosphere. The same radiation fields had prevented the transition of electromagnetic waves at the earliest times when they were more dense, causing problems in communication.

While I was sitting on my desk again to look at the developments in the markets, a message came to my mobile computer. The chef Salih whom I spent hours after the disaster together, said that my wallet was found. I could have asked him to send the purse with the courier, but I decided to go and take it up personally, considering I left the hotel without saying goodbye to them.

I found Salih in the hotel's dining room giving instructions to the apprentices. He took me to the backyard where the dining room was opened. A kitten with black and white feathers in the garden was playing a game of capturing the leaves falling from the poplar tree.

”We took it down from the plane tree after you," said Salih.

“Poor animal was terrified.”

“Who was not afraid? We've also dealt with a looter attack.”

"How have you responded?”

“We have engaged. Yavuz was wounded in the shoulder.”

“How is he now?”

"He's still in the hospital, but he's recovering. He was a brave boy. He sprayed five people on his own.”

“We were too worried about the children; we couldn't contribute to you, sorry.”

“Do you really have children?”

“No. I have a father, and he's taking care of himself.”

“Both of my children are married, living in Germany.”

"How are things in Germany?”

“There's not much trouble there. The earthquakes were not severe, and the buildings were strong. People were at home when the stones fell. Bad things usually happen to the poor. It is the way of the world.”

“Is things back to normal at the hotel?”

“We're trying to get it together. No damage to the additional buildings. We'il start serving."

“Thank you for your wallet. I brought you something small, a simultaneous translation headset.”

“I did not do it for the benefit.”

"Not for the wallet, but for your help that night. Tell Yavuz my regards.”
