In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth, six days he created Adam and Eve to fellowship with him until they give into temptation by eating from a forbidden tree and sin enters the world, God becomes angry and floods the earth.
God starts again with Noah and his family, year later he calls Abraham to follow him with a promise to make him the father of all nations, Abraham obeys God and the Lord gave him a son Isaac, Jacob, Isaac's son has 12 sons. Joseph Jacob's favorite becomes second in command in Egypt and God uses him to save his entire family and Egypt from famine.
100 years later the Isrealite are slaves in Egypt, Moses was called by God to lead the Israelite from captivity. After the death of Moses, Joshua takes over and the Israelites to the promise land.
After the death of Joshua, God raises temporary militant judges to lead his people. Judges like Deborah, Samson, Gideon to fight for his people. The people tired of this leadership required a king and God gave them king Saul, king David, king Solomon, downhill from hear the kingdom of Israel is divided and everyone turns their back on God. Prophets like Elisha, Jeremiah, Isiah warned that if people do not repent of their sins there will be consequences. They ignored their warnings, the divided kingdom is scattered and God's people suffer captivity in foreign lands, people like Daniel showed courage but for 400 years God is silent.
No miracles
No prophecy
No angel visitation.

The silence is broken when Jesus is born he lives a perfect life teaching truth and performing miracles proving he his God. He died on the cross for our sins and on the 3rd day he resurrected, he conquered sin and death. He's followers travel round the world sharing good news and forming churches.
