Bayazid broke the rules

Saint Bayazid used to sometimes act against the rules and traditions of his sect. Once he returned from a pilgrimage to a city. The citizens of the country welcomed them with reverence. There was a stir among people due to the arrival of their city.

When Bayazid got tired of people's applause, by reaching the middle of the market, they started taking bread packets in front of all the people and started eating them. Fasting was on that day due to the holy month of Ramzan. Although it was a day of fasting, but Bayajid knew that because of his travel, he was allowed to break fast.

But his followers did not like it. He was so upset with his behavior that he left his house and left.

Bayazid said to his disciple - "As soon as I did not behave in accordance with his aspiration, all his glory disappeared."

"The price of reverence has to be paid by doing what you expect."
