Sylfilthia Rottencrotch suspected something was a little off when her predatory auntie tried to wash her when she was just six years old. Nevertheless, she lived a relatively normal life among other humans.

It wasn't until she bumped into the devilishly patient crocodile, Seymore Butts, that her life finally began to make sense.

However, Seymore proved to be vile and seemed to have an unhealthy obsession with partying. Sylfilthia soon learnt that Seymore had taken an oath never to sniff a human being.

When Sylfilthia's predatory auntie is injured in a magic accident, Sylfilthia realises her own life is at risk.

Despite Seymore's evil eyes and murderous tendencies, Sylfilthia finds herself falling for the crocodile. Only fate will decided whether he kills or protects her.

One night, a fairy appears before Sylfilthia and warns her of a darkness within Seymore. The fairy gives Sylfilthia the bendy paperweight - the only weapon that can defeat a patient crocodile.

Will Sylfilthia find it in herself to kill the only creature who has ever made her feel truly uncomfortable? (Hint: yes!)
