Narrative Poetry: The Little Kitten
She rolls about inside a barn
The ball of yarn rolls out the door
The kitten chase it on the floor
She meows while running with delight
Soon she steps outside to play
Her eyes shine like the day
The little kitten starts to play
Running around chasing butterflies
She rolls, she jumps, and roll some more
But the little kitten just play and play
Never running out of energy
Touching everything with curiosity
She took a nap under a tree
Soon the mother cat came along,
And took the little kitten back home
